I don’t know who the hell drew this, but it’s fantastic. This kid’s really got a future in artistic expression, yes? I mean, the colors, the composition, it’s just so neoclassic realist! I especially love the juxtaposition of the stylized skateboards in conjunction with the fantasy element of the smiling faces, against the stark realism of the arrow penises. Never have I seen such a realistic interpretation of life faced with such surrealistic pathos.

Hell of a good sesh yesterday, so psyched for summertime! I get the feeling it’s gonna be a damn good one…

Well, it’s that time again…who’s down for some construction? I’m itchin’ to get my ‘crete on again!

On our exploratory voyage to San Francisco, my son’s stuffed giraffe duwaffe stowed away with us. This was the first time we’ve left our boy behind, so I made a little video of what he did in SF for him. Here it is for your eyes too. Looks like he had a sad trip, but trust me, he had fun.

Goddamn Raul and Ramon. I wish my powers of persuasion could just, once in a while, extend to those of the jedi. “You WILL stop destroying our obstacles,” just waving a couple fingers to be met with placid agreeance.

Alas, no jedi am I.

Well, stubborn asses we are, we still went and did this. I dunno how we’ll all feel if we go back next week and find it smashed up but hey, at least we
had fun doing it.

Alright, here’s something I’ve been meaning to do for years. This is Abe Marin’s first video for his company Sabor skateboards. This shit inspired me and countless others to shred in the 90′s, with dudes like Ray C and Dan G proving that the desert can breed some super gnarly trickboarders. BTW, if anyone has copies of these that aren’t all chewed up and wants to loan them to me, I’ll upload better quality copies…meanwhile, enjoy!
